Boy, Oh Boy!

Well, it's official!  We're having a boy!  We had an ultrasound last week while my mom was in town and it was an incredible experience.  It was in 3D and completely amazing!  I couldn't believe the level of detail captured. The ultrasound tech gave 100% certainty that our little one is male and showed us the "money shot"!  Unmistakable anatomy!   Here are a few picture of our little guy!!  He doesn't have much meat on his bones right now, but he's growing more every week! 

We had a great time with my mom while she was in town!  It was a full week of shopping, ultrasounds, dr appointments and swimming!   Jackson had so much fun playing with Grammie K and showing her how well he swims with his head under water.   We had beautiful weather and I managed to get a little sun on my shoulders!

 

While my mom was in town we ordered a Graco sleigh crib, changing table and armoire (all white).   My mom offered her expert opinion on decorating the nursery!  We considered darker furniture, but she helped us realize that dark furniture would make the room too heavy.   So, we opted for light colors.  The crib already arrived and the rest should be here this week! Here's a pic of the crib that we ordered.  Assembly will begin soon!

We've been working on the nursery and have made lots of progress!  Brian got the new wall completely built.  Priming and painting is the only thing left to do before we steam clean the carpets and assemble furniture!  My hubby put so much effort into Project Nursery so far...I'm very grateful for all his hard work!!
