Rain-gutter Regatta

Jackson participated in his very first Cub Scout Rain-gutter Regatta boat race today! He got his little wooden sail boat last week and assembled and painted it with red "suspenders" like Super Mario's pants and the number 44 (his Pack #) on the sail. Ha! Very clever, Jackson! He had so much fun blowing his boat down the air-inflated water alleys. While he didn't place in the finals he did show great sportsmanship and congratulated all the other boys with a handshake and a "Good Race!". He even said he didn't care if he won, he just wanted to have fun. What a great attitude! He also earned two new badges this week, which he is so very proud of. Here are some pics from his big night!
