Shawnie and I have been cooking and baking together for many years. Over the past 2 years, when we have some free time we teach French cooking classes together at Uppet Arlington's LifeLong Learning center through the Parks and Rec department. Our series of classes is called "Simply French". I teach the cooking portion and Shawnie discusses the region, the traditions and general culture of where our menu is from. My culinary training and her travel expertise has helped us become a great duo in the kitchen classroom!
Anyway, lately we've been on a mission to preserve this'n'that whenever possible. Last week we made pickles and lemon curd and they both turned out super tasty!
