Tonight, there was a local Halloween event called Candy by the Carload up the street. Local vendors set up tables, wear costumes and pass out treats in the parking lot of the municipal building. We went last year and Sam was too small to really have any fun, so we decided to take him again this year for some early trick or treating (Jackson is at his mom's this weekend). It was a tiny struggle getting him in his costume, but once he was dressed we were ready to go! When we arrived there was a long line down the sidewalk, so we went to Jeni's for some pumpkin and chocolate ice cream for a bit. By the time we got back to the parking lot, Sam was getting tired and became a grumpy mess. We figured it would be better to head home than stand in the long line for a half hour just to get some candy that he can't really eat yet anyway. We didn't get a single piece of candy, but Sam did get lots of compliments on his costume! Can you guess what he is? Mmm! Bon Appetite!
