Kitchen Remodel in Motion
Now that our kitchen remodel is in full swing, I've been looking at a million and one pictures of various kitchen styles, colors, accents, cabiets, countertops, appliances, features, etc. I have come to realize that my kitchen just isn't big enough for every great idea that I see and want to incorporate. I started off with a small list of "must haves" and it's rapidly growing by the day. ;)
We began this process thinking we wanted a "blonde" kitchen with light counters and light tile floors, then changed our minds and wanted a white kitchen with white marble counters and dark hardwood floors. Now, we're pretty sure we want a capuccino color kitchen with light counters and TBD color hardwood floors. Below is a kitchen that I was drawn to...dark cabinets, light counters and wood floors. We'll design something similar. We're sketching and making a model of our kitchen soon.

I was researching the best workflow for "L-shaped" and "U-shaped" kitchen and I came across these Kitchen Zone sketches which really helps with designing the functionality aspect of this project since our kitchen has a similar layout. Even though I've been an 'internetter' for many years, I'm still astounded by all the cool things I can find online!
