There's nothing sweeter than watching Sam learn something new and discover how his little hands and feet work First he rolled over, then he got on all 4's and rocked, then he took off crawling across the room and lately, he's been climbing stairs. Brian doesn't think it'll happen soon, but I know it won't take much time for him to start walking. Sam became mobile exactly 2 months ago and now stands and walks along the couch and tables. Today, he started letting go and balancing on his own and trying to take steps! He barely makes one full step before letting himself fall to the floor, but I'm almost positive he will begin toddling around within 2 -3 weeks. Brian suspects it'll be closer to the end of November before he walks. Hmmm....who will be right? It's usually me! (wink!)
The other day we were playing in the foyer and he started pushing his little cars around and watching the wheels go round and round. It was the first time he didn't just bang the cars on the floor or throw them across the room. He actually pushed them around! It was so funny seeing him look under the table when they rolled away!
After 8 1/2 months of getting to know my son, I've come to learn that he is a complete goofball! He's so playful and fun and loves to laugh and smile. He makes funny faces and squeaky noises...I just can't get enough of my silly boy!
