Adventures at Cosi

It was a chilly weekend in Columbus so The Joneses decided to go to the science center, Cosi, which has a very cool little kids space.  The last time we were there, Sam was about 2 weeks old (pictured below)!  Yes, his cheeks were really that chubby, and they are still just as chubby!  Anyway, we waited until the afternoon to head downtown because the entry price is discounted to nearly half the cost.  Being the thrifty family that we are, "half price" was right up our alley!  Sam took a great mid-day nap so he was refreshed and ready to rock 'n roll.    Pictures of then and now!

I was so excited to get Sam out of the house and around a room full of new kids and new toys, but I was feeling a bit of anxiety. I wasn't worried about him getting hurt or stepped on, but was a bit buggered about the massive amounts of germs that would be floating around.  When we got there I actually considered wiping down every toy that Sam was about to play with, but quickly realized that it was a silly idea.  Sam wasn't going to wait patiently while mommy cleaned everything off!  And I couldn't keep him from putting everything in his mouth, but we did our best to keep him clean!   I often cleaned his hands and face with wipes in between each play station (and he immediately got a bath when we got home!)   We had so much fun chasing him around and seeing him interact with other babies.   He's a very social boy!  Here are a few pics of him exploring the kids space for the first time!

I have no idea what this was, but Sam loved it!

There were lots of plush and cozy places to sit.

Mad Scientist!

Hanging out on the ginormous legos watching the ladies!

This beaded curtain made music (like a harp) when you touch it!

Lots of nooks and crannies to crawl through!

Vroom!

Snuggly nap after a hard day of playing!
