This past weekend, my family spent some quality time together celebrating Christmas! My brother Jason and his lovely wife Julie hosted a super fun party at their house with their 3 smart and beautiful daughters, Abby, Sarah and Caroline. The food was great, the kids were super excited to play together and I was happy to be with the ones I love so much. It's always a huge treat getting all of my siblings' families, Mom and extended family together under one roof. It's loud, busy and just plain crazy... good crazy, of course!
I'm grateful that my whole family is healthy and safe and could be together, especially after the tragic shootings in Connecticut last week. Over the weekend I hugged them all a little tighter than usual and took them in as much as I could. I'm blessed and extremely fortunate each and every day to have them all in my life.
