Cub Scout Cake Bake Off!

Jackson's troop had a cake decorating contest this week so today after school we baked and decorated his entry cake. He said he wanted to make it a candy cane cake, so that's exactly what we did! I baked two round chocolate peppermint cakes and some white chocolate buttercream icing, with Jackson's help of course! He did the fun stuff; mixing and spreading and I did the boring grown up parts like putting it in the oven. Being the perfectionist that he is, it turned out awesome.
