Yesterday I celebrated my 33rd Birthday! It was a relaxing and laid back day spent eating, drinking and napping! Shawnie and I had our traditional sushi lunch and Brian made the most amazing scallops in a tarragon white wine sauce for dinner. I was in the mood to bake so I made a chocolate cake with raspberry chocolate frosting. Lol. Yes I made my own Birthday cake. And I plan to have a piece for breakfast today! :)
I got some really lovely gifts...a beautiful tea set from my mom, some vintage Pyrex goodies from Brian, a Kit Kat Clock with rolling eyes and a wagging tail, and some cute necklaces from the boys. I'm a lucky Mama!
Even Buster gave me a card, which made me laugh out loud! Turning 33 wasn't so bad! :)
