Earth Day Celebrations

Last weekend Brian's parents came for a visit. We spontaneously went Downtown for a fun event celebrating Earth Day in the green space in the center of the city. It's a lovely big park with a great view of the skyline. We had beautiful weathe too, which was icing on the cake. There were bands playing, food trucks cooking up a storm, a creepy costumed Captain America scaring the bageezus out of little kids, arts and crafts stations, a petting zoo with a real turkey, and of course, the carousel with animals like dolphins and zebras instead of horses. It was a great way to get out and enjoy some super fun family time together!
