My good friend Katie and I took a painting class called Colors and Bottles. The class was located at a charming little winery on the East side of town, Wyandotte Winery. About 20 woman and men packed into a small room and colorful paints and yummy wine began to flow! A trained artist lead the class and gave each of us pointers and tips. 2 bottles and 3 hours later we had completed masterpieces...or not-so-masterpieces! I spilled wine on my finished painting, but it didn't turn out that good anyway! We plan to take another class soon and hopefully the creative juices, aka vino, will help us create beautiful paintings!
