After 9 weeks, Sam has finally gone on tour! We decided to visit my family in Pittsburgh for a few days this week. We also spent some time with Brian's family in Northeastern Ohio. Jackson was out of school for Spring Break and Brian had some comp time to use, so on the road we went!
Even though my car is way to small for my family of 4 (relativity small people), we took it on the trip to Pittsburgh anyway. Brian's Saab was at the fancy car wash getting detailed so we packed my tiny Mercedes to the brim with overnight bags, a stroller, pack n play, laptops, baby supplies, snacks...you name it. We were completely overloaded and ready for anything.
After a quick and quiet 3 hour drive to Pittsburgh we arrived in my hometown and were very excited to see my family. My mom has been waiting many weeks to see us...especially her little Sammy. She absolutely could not wait to get her hands on our little squeaker. The last time she saw him he was just a week old and no bigger than a peanut. Most of my other family members had not met Sammy yet so this was a big trip for him. Grammie was waiting on the porch when we pulled up! She made her rounds and kissed Brian, Jackson and then me, but she saved Sammy for last. We both knew that once she had him in her arms, she was not going to put him down!
Sam loved meeting all of his family! Here are a few more pictures of Sam and the gang!
TUCKERED OUT AFTER A GREAT VISIT TO PITTSBURGH!!
